This has been without a doubt the finest AutoCAD book I've had the pleasure to work through. The writing was clear and articulate; the examples entertaining and instructive; and the whole experience greatly increased my knowledge of the the seemingly arcane workings of AutoCAD. I couldn't believe the wealth of knowledge packed into the book and would recommended it to the novice and experienced alike.
Not only will you thoroughly learn AutoCAD, this book will give you broadly applicable knowledge of technical drawing in general. By the time you finish this tutorial, you will be equipped to tackle professional drawing projects in many fields. Even if you don't plan on using AutoCAD professionally, but are just interested in learning enough to master home projects, you'll be able to create and print drawings after just the first four chapters. The writing is clear and concise, and this book is packed with useful information. If you're new to AutoCAD, never fear - this book assumes no prior knowledge of AutoCAD. Hands down, this is the best way to learn AutoCAD I've seen.
